An Ode to Something I Left for Long

How does it feel when you get separated from the thing you love the most? Like taking the favourite chocolate or toy from a small kid. That's how I feel right now seeing this.

This is ghungru, which is given utmost respect in classical dance forms. I learnt Odissi dance form for 5-6 yrs when I was just 8 or 9 years old. I had to leave dancing because of my studies and that was tough for me. Till today I have that keen interest in me to learn classical dance form especially Odissi and Kathak. Maybe in future or at any point in my life, if I ever get a chance, for sure I would grab it as there is no age limit to learn.

No doubt I regret leaving something I love so much but as it is rightly said, everything you love can't always stay with you. The dancer in me still finds a way to showcase itself in a closed room but the fear inside my heart pulls me back to tell everyone thinking of falling still stays.
